happy new year

its 2024! a year that ends in the number 4 <3 that's my favorite number.

Today I did what I wanted. I took a nap on the couch, I made red bell pepper sauce and pasta, I walked the dog and dressed her up in her pink sweater, Andrew took some pictures of us...oh, and we went to Taco Bell. I was off work, but because it was a holiday, I'm still getting paid *insert sunglasses emoji here*

I'm not going to jinx the whole year by saying, "blah blah if everyday of this new year is like this, then I'll be soooo happy!" or anything nonsensical like that. No, I know that this year will bring things I could never imagine. I know it should fly by like they always do. I need to soak in the seconds; slow down and take in existence, remember what's important, stay focused.

My list of goals for 2024:

1. Buy a camera for photography, do some concept shoots with friends to build my portfolio

2. Make clothing/stickers/candles for online store

3. Get my typing certificate so I can look into new job opportunities

4. Work out at least 30 mins a day

5. Eat well, and sleep well

6. Organize and decorate our house

7. Finish my album by Feb 1st

8. Have an online income source that makes $$ daily

9. Post to my website daily

10. Post to Tiktok for my art/website/etc

11. Go on a trip with Andrew

12. Take Velvet swimming this summer

13. Pay off all financial debts
