A Garfield Monday

Garfield hates Mondays. Is tomorrow Monday? No, not really, but it is my Monday.

On a real Monday at work, sometimes, I ask people if they're having a nice day, and they will occasionally say, No!

So I say "ah, so it's a Garfield Monday, then?"

And do they "get it" when I say this? No, they don't. They look at me awkwardly, and I continue ringing up their clothes, and pondering my next quip, to keep things interesting. It doesn't bother me that I say stuff sometimes and it totally doesn't land. I think it's fun to confuse people. How "Happy Bunny" of me.

Tomorrow I will slay so hard...on the sales floor. I already have my outfit picked out, and I have tightly wrapped my hair around my heatless curler. For me, work can also be a fashion show. There is hardly a dress code, and that's probably my favorite thing about my job. It's an opportunity to look cute and get paid. I want my life to be worthwhile to me, and in my wildest daydreams of the most mundane activites, I look cute AF.

I'm not going to mourn my weekend and mope around the house all morning tomorrow, dreading my afternoon shift. There's nothing good about counting down the minutes and hours of your life, and that's what it feels like to dwell on how much time is spent at your job. I am excited to get my week started tomorrow. I look forward to seeing my favorite coworkers, munching tacos on my lunch break, and watching the rain from the big front windows.

I mostly finished the EP I've been working on for

...years. I promised it to the world months ago, but it's finally coming together.

Andrew helped me with some of the mixing and mastering today <3

I went to the dentist (!)

We did laundry.

I built a Graveyard on The Sims 4, and started making two new mini skirts (one for my shop, and one for me).

I slept and ate lots of veggies and yummy foods.

I napped when I felt like napping.

I listened to Taylor Swift and Charli XCX and put my nose ring back in.

I am content in my mind, and cozy in bed. Everything feels quite perfect at the moment.
